Karol Perez attends Appalachian State University, majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History. Prior to App State, Perez attended Nash Community College, where they obtained an Associates of Graphic Design and an Associates of Arts. Perez breaks design rules and conventions while actively decolonizing it. Their focus is making art based on Mexican identity in an American society.
