The Colors of Mexico explores Mexico’s complex relationship with colorism toward its own people. Rooted in a myth that all Mexicans are one blended race, insisiting that there could not be any prejudice. This book explores the caste system used during Spanish rule of Mexico and comparing them to the colorism that is seen today within Mexicans.
